About our school

The Miranda North Public School community is proud and protective of the school with its extensive grassed play areas and fixed playground equipment.

The school is highly regarded for strong and fair discipline as well as outstanding programs in literacy, physical education and performing arts.

Student wellbeing is a priority and extra support is available through the "National School Chaplaincy and Student Wellbeing" program. Miranda North Public School's local intake area is bounded by The Kingsway, Kiora Rd, Port Hacking Rd, Taren Point Rd, Foreshaw & Gwawley Parks.

The current student enrolment of 294 reside mainly in this area but does include some students from outside the local area. There is no public transport servicing the school so the children either walk to school or use private vehicles. All learning spaces are networked, have Interactive Whiteboards and internet access and are air conditioned as well. The school is also fitted out with wifi access points in all learning and administration areas.
